PGA Championship

Phil and Brooks- Two completely different guys who I feel nearly exactly the same about. I don't particularly like their respective schticks but both are great for the game. Brooks as the foil to the game and Phil as the lovable loser turned one of the greatest. Weird day for me. I was rooting for Louis because I immensely respect a guy being that damn good without giving a single **** about it. Truly one of the greatest what if stories in golf. I'd also be lying if I wasn't rooting for Streelman a little bit just for the amount of ******** that would ensue. Anyway, great tournament, great course and the best player clearly won. I hope the logistics don't keep the PGA from going back there regularly because about all that course is good for is printing money and hosting pros.

Brooks is definitely an ass but Bryson deserves any eye roll he gets.

This has been going on for years now and the tour refuses to pair them together because they’re more concerned about being “gentleman.” (Jack off motion)

It’s still funny to me that Brycen completely changed his game because of Brooks. Hoping the USGA puts them together for every round

At some point they are bound to be paired due to their standings on the weekend. It will be glorious. Golf needs hate.

I agree with both statements. If you read the Twitter feed it sounds like DeCh says something in response to Brook's in the interview. Low blow by Bryson, up until then I did think Brooks can be an azz at times.
I admire DeCh for what he does to change / improve his game = club length alterations, grooves on irons, analytics on set up, etc.

I want to think that Bryson is just a big doofus and give him the benefit of the doubt but the way he’s so calculated in everything tells me he does that **** on purpose. Also he plays at the pace of a 75 year old carrying so I’m sure that grinds the other tour guys.

I love when he hits a poor drive and goes on and on at how he hit it so great and doesn't understand how it ended up where it did.

I used to hate Brooks but I can't stand Bryson. Now I like how Brooks is open with his hatred towards Bryson. Bryson is that guy that thinks he's smarter than everyone and never takes blame for any poor shot he hits. Plus, he whines a lot.

Bryson is right behind Patrick Reed for my least favorite tour player. I’m ambivalent about a Brooks, but that goatee is a real bad look.

Didn’t Tiger and Sergio have a fairly long lasting tiff?

They're both unlikable which makes any 'rivalry' boring in my opinion. Also they both have stupid names.
 
Bryson is an insufferable douche. I know a lot of people think he's good for the game but if he disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn't care one bit. He also likes to act like he can talk **** but Brooks has stuffed him a locker every time they've went back and forth. My personal favorite was when he said Brooks could say something to his face and the next morning Brooks did so. I'm not a big Brooks fan but it's impossible for me to root for Bryson in anything. At least with Patrick Reed I can appreciate the massive sociopath for what he really is.

Exactly. Pat Reed is the perfect example. Turn him into the ass he is on tour, but instead they protect him. It’s insane for a sport that struggles outside 4 weekends a year

Yes to Sergio, but everyone hates him. That’s what happens when you constantly pout, smash clubs into greens, and say racists **** to Tiger (made a public fried chicken remark years ago)
