Unfortunately, it appears we're heading for a potential worst case scenario before this is done.
That's a classy act. Wish i had a daughter since he seems like a wonderfully well-adjusted, yet misunderstood, young "man".
Thing is, I think he even posted it saying that she was pissed about it and they are no longer together. Sooo..id imagine if she wanted to, she could make it very ugly for him, which wouldnt be unwarranted for this tool. I do realize that she shouldnt have allowed the video to be made, but still, there is this thing called decency and he clearly doesnt have it.
My understanding is that anything filmed in a public place is free to post without consent even if the party did not know they were being filmed. If filmed in a private place, even with consent for filming, it is not free to be posted without consent. I am sure there are nuances to this and each individual case has it's own circumstances that apply. Regardless, it is a scummy thing to do .
You know, I didn't really have any concrete expectations about the direction this would end up going but "the legality of revenge porn" wasn't among the possibilities I was considering.
ISU has given him a release for any school not in the Big XII or on the dual schedule for next year. Though I'd be amazed if a D-1 school was willing to take a flyer on him at this point.

Well, maybe except him wrestling in D1 again. That may well be out of the realm of possibility by now
