Quite possibly my favorite song of his from this album and I'm not really sure why.

Among groups considered in-retro as “proto-punk.” Album is about 50% covers, such as Louie Louie, and most are good renditions with the band's sound, but I’m sticking with originals.

I was a teenager in '76 so, of course, I had Comes Alive on 8 track from the RCA Record Club!
I had a hand-me-down turntable, so vinyl for me it was.
It's a classic.
The LP came with stickers of the cover, which I immediately placed on a dresser-mirror in my bedroom.
Coincidentally, just a few days ago, during an overdue late-spring-cleaning purge, I pitched a R&R Over T-shirt that was in a storage room. The shirt was grungy and unwearable (or displayable or donation-worthy).
Most band or sports shirts I have I keep in good condition and wear sparingly, so I feel bad about that one ... but it wasn't an original-era collectible, I bought it sometime in the mid-'90s at a novelty pop-culture type of clothing store.
I had the 8-track, too! It belonged to my sister and she left it at home among other tapes when she went to college.
I'm not sure how many hundreds of times I played Comes Alive, but eventually the tape quality became ... compromised.
Anyone else ‘member this (released in '76)? The obvious hit is obvious, and I won’t even post it here, but the album overall is fairly good, I still think an apt merger of classical & disco.
No worries about the thread title ... I couldn't think of anything fitting / clever, so I was no help in that regard.
