OSU vs Texas Thread

OSU really must have put emphasis on open field tackles the last year or so.

Used to be a bit of a paper towel on defense but they're pretty good with it.

Is OSU’s special teams trying to one up ISU’s on bonehead plays? Kickoff return for Td and a roughing the kicker that resulted in a TD.

When it is absolutely critical to get the ball back, I wouldn't even have my guys rush the punter at all, and I wouldn't put anyone back to receive the punt either. You can't risk getting a roughing the punter or having your punt returner muff it.

If we can't beat Texas, we don't deserve to be in the Big 12 championship game. They are not that good. It is taking a +4 turnover margin for them to maybe eek out a win vs OSU. Having said that, I hate Texas so I hope they lose anyway.

Honestly K State is our kryptonite by far, and if we can't beat them with how depleted they are then we don't deserve to play for the title anyway. Texas will have a tricky game next week with WVU after a big win to keep their season alive. WVU defense is tough and the offense is starting to put some things together. That game is not a gimme.

Texas hasn’t been all that good, so not sure why you feel that. OSU has gifted them everything about this game on a turnover platter.
