OSU vs Texas Thread

WTF?

Curious that peeps put hatred of Texas over what would be best for ISU which is a Texas win. Unless we are all just playing for 2nd and a rematch but I'd rather be in 1st.

I’ve seen this a couple times today but I haven’t see a good reason for why Texas winning is better for ISU. I want OSU to run the table and give these other teams a loss.
ISU just needs to win out at home. A loss by Texas today means the game in Austin shouldn’t matter for ISU.
Am I missing something?

My personal rule change would result in the rugby style punters being free game. You get protection if you want to punt from a set spot...as soon as you start moving you become a runner.

Ideal to have OSU win yes, but it's not the end of the world if they lose because it forces a current 3-way tie at the top and OSU is likely going to lose to OU because they always do. They have 4 of 5 on the road to finish, which is no easy task. In the end no matter who wins this game, the ball is in our court. Win out and it won't matter. But if we end up in a giant 4-way tie or something then the head to head with OSU is negated a lot. Just trying to find a silver lining if the Pokes screw this up.

Also, Texas still has to play at K State and home against WVU next week. That game against the Mountaineers will be no cupcake the way they are starting to play.
