Well, that’s two good laughs I’ve had today! I mean, seriously—after the author says ISU is “stacked” on defense?

I honestly think that Louisiana will be lucky to reach half that. Very lucky. Maybe 14-16, if that.

No way the offenses are clicking that well early in the season to get 77 points on the board.

Sunbelt teams don't send 2 O Linemen to the NFL and not miss a beat. They may like the guys stepping in, but their O Line will absolutely take a step back, especially in game 1.

Similarly at WR. They've lost 6 guys from last year: NFL, graduation, and 4 injuries this spring. Again, sounds like they really like the young guys but those guys don't just step right in.

If ISU can keep them one dimensional on the ground, this will be a long day for Louisiana, IMO.

I feel good that ISU covers. First half is probably stressful but they pull away in the second half when the offense starts clicking.

Yeah, I know they have a potent offense, but I don't see this defense giving up 42. They have only given up 42 three times in the nearly three years since they went to the 3-3-5. Oklahoma last year and OSU the previous two years - winning one of those two games.
