On to Kansas

OU has an interesting defensive plan against KU and I know ISU won’t deviate from what they do but it was pretty effective in making them work hard for every point. Well until they just took off at the end.

Any thoughts on if ESPN will move the Kansas/ISU game off of ESPN+? The game has become the biggest one of the Big12 season at this point in the season. High profile game.

Dude Kansas went 31-37 from the free throw line. I’m not sure the last time I saw a team shoot 37 free throws
It was nuts. For a stretch there in the second half, KU just forced the ball to the hoop and got a foul called against OU on nearly every possession. KU basically went from the 18-minute mark to the 5-minute mark without making a FG and scored 18 points at the FT line.

And then OU did really tank the last 3 minutes or so.

Can't have KU on the big-boy networks too often. People might start asking questions...like how does a team score 18 points during a 13-minute FG scoring drought...

KU plans to have 200 former players, coaches and staff members at the game on Saturday. It’s their 125-year celebration of getting home calls. A win would be even sweeter in front of Sherron Collins, Mario Chalmers and Larry Brown (who, of course, never won in Hilton).

Bill Self can teach a master class on getting a big in foul trouble early and that will be the case Saturday I'd guess.

Probably get into Lipsey too.
Lipsey is the guy I worry about most. Will need him to keep the offense in line.

They almost lost to tech OU and OK State. This may be the most beatable KU team in a while

Im glad ku won last night. I’d rather them be cocky than desperate. They have k st after us but I don’t think they’ll be overlooking us
