On That Note: Sundown, You Better Take Care

Jethro Tull, Skating Away on the Thin Ice of a New Day

And as you cross the circle line
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run
And silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye
Shining in the setting sun

The Roger Waters version of the Pink Floyd song. The female vocalists are from the band Lucius. Their vocals along with the sound quality of the instruments make headphones necessary for me.

Where the sun comes up about ten in the mornin'
And the sun goes down about three in the day
And you fill your cup with whatever bitter brew you're drinkin'
And you spend your life diggin' coal from the bottom of your grave

The road got blurry when the sun came up
So I slept a couple hours in the pickup truck

So for our OTN this week we're looking for songs with the words "Sunrise," "Sunset," or "Equal" in the title or lyrics.

We will also accept Equinox, Equaled, Equalized, Equality etc.

Also, any songs with lyrical phrases such as "sun comes up" or "sun goes down."

Last week's topic was "Return" To Me. It can be found here: https://cyclonefanatic.com/forum/threads/on-that-note-return-to-me.287406/
Since you named the thread after it - here's a recent very good cover of Sundown:

Jonathan Edwards - Sunshine (1971), which is a Vietnam war protest song.

There is also a Ukrainian group called Sunrise which has an album titled "Equilibrium."

John Coltrane has a song titled "Equinox".

There was a band called The Equals, which featured a young Eddy Grant, of "Electric Avenue" fame. Their hit was "Baby Come Back".
