On That Note: Do you hear what I hear

That's a good one! I thought the same thing until probably just now, but I haven't heard it in 10+ years.
Not 100% a mishearing because it's a homonym, but every time I'd hear Carole King singing this line in Will You Love Me Tomorrow I was simply amazed that the original girl group version by the Shirelles EVER got on the radio.
The lyric is, "Can I believe the magic of your sighs? Will you still love me tomorrow?"
I thought it was "Can I believe the magic of your size? Will you still love me tomorrow?"
Not sure if it's still a thing, but it used to be accepted thought by many that if a girl gave it up, the guy would not respect her in the morning. So the idea of her pondering 'the magic of his size' fit nicely into that female decision process.
What I couldn't understand was how such graphic talk about sexual organ size could make it to broadcast radio?

I heard the “Alive!” version before I heard studio track (which is easier to decipher)

Thinking about the actual lyric, is it possible "doin' in my head" is a euphemism for torturing myself or driving myself crazy?
