Hard to pick out one from 1974 when I was not born till 5 years later. The album this song is from was from didn't have many tracks but this was the 1 gem from. It

Our family got our first stereo for Christmas 1964. This record was released about then and in early 65 when I became aware of top 40 radio, this was THE song played every 20 minutes.

Being a little older than you I have the 45.

1964 - The Kinks debut album, Kinks. Mom had this in her collection and listened to it regularly when I was a kid. RIP mom.



Pretenders covered this one. Not sure which version I like best.

1974 - Lynyrd Skynyrd, Second Helping. My buddies brother introduced this one to us in '77. Thanks Byron. Awesome album so had to go with 5 clips.
