QB woes plateau...
OSU 32
ISU 17
this one is actually tough to figure. I believe in this defense. If we have offensive oroduction and rest the D we win going away. QB's struggle again...defense tires and OSU pulls away late.

just so everyone knows. we are 0-2 in post paul rhoads specials. 0-3 if you include tech

Do you mean the game after or the year after?

If the game after, how is this relevant at all?

If the year after, this is much different because OSU '11 was a FAR better team than OSU '12. Unlike Nebby in 09-10 and Texas in 10-11, this OSU team is nowhere near as good as it was. The Cyclones very well may have the better team.

5 in our group, never been to Stillwater, we're excited! Anyone know the best place to park?
Don't know where to park as we took a bus into Stillwater but the game was a blast.
Went 4 or 5 years ago when we got completely destroyed. "Here comes Bullet!" will forever be ingrained in my brain. Anyway, we got to sit up in the suites and enjoy the food up there. The stadium is a great venue. Sure it will be even better after that victory!

37 to 31 in regulation. Iowa state maintains control through out the game late score and onside kick make it interesting.

sorry about heffley guys, some people just dont know when to shut up, I hope you have a good time in stillwater if you go

we are not as bad as we look but i dont think we match up good with your team so i think it will be a close game and turnovers will decide the outcome

We've come a long way on this site.

First, it was just ISU fans arguing with ISU fans.
Then we had UNI fans arguing with NDSU fans.
Then we had TTU fans arguing with TCU fans.
Now we have OSU fans arguing with their own evil twins.

CF's all growns up.

Although it looks to me like ISU is a better team and ought to win, I'll stick with my preseason prediction. I've been wrong on three games so far, so I like our odds in that regard.

OSU 34, ISU 17

I do not believe that the OSU defense is as bad as our offense. We do not cover and limp home with a 17 point loss. Something like 37-20 with a missed extra point. If offense can put up 350 plus yards, color me wrong. Hope they do, but have to go with brain, not heart.

We might be in trouble, I just looked at the stats and apparently their kicker is 30/30 on PAT's

With his ability to excel as both a punter (leads the league) and a place kicker (solid 75% on FG's and as you said without a PAT miss), I wouldn't count him out as kicking in some capacity next year on Sundays. Having a backup at either the P or K position who is actually really very good is huge for an NFL team as generally the P backs up the K and vice versa. If it all falls apart they can find a free agent, but they probably aren't going that route if a specialist is just dinged up for a couple of games.

Also keep in mind that he hit 88% of FGs last year (thank God for one of those misses!) and only missed 1 of his 80 PATs. In his 4 year punting career he is on pace to average 46 yards per punt. His punting will probably get him in the league with his placekicking helping him to stick.

Facing a softer defense helps get our offense going a little bit. An OSU offense that didn't exactly light it up against KU last weekend isn't going to find its stride against our D. Clones pull it out, 27-21.
