You are so much better at this than I am. So lets just assume US Soccer takes 1/4, that leaves approx $67m. That is better than $3m per team each season that is a nice raise. Not going to sign huge names in the sport but should allow the league to grow over the next 8 season.
Yeah, it's a pretty big step forward no doubt.

Regarding the WC, I'm surprised that Chandler got called into camp. I would have to say that his inclusion along with Yedlin is a sign that JK isn't entirely comfortable with Brad Evans at right back which is perfectly fine with me. A question for everybody. What would your preferred back line look like for the WC? Part of me would hesitate to use Cameron as a central defender since he's spent a whole season playing right back at Stoke, but I do think the best back line the US could put out there would probably be Fab-Besler-Cameron-Chandler.

I would love a CB pairing of Besler and Cameron.

I hate our back line. They suck. I guess the guys back there that scare me the least are Beasley, Evans, umm... ummm.... I don't care who the other 2 are, they're going to get scored on anyway.

I heard that NBCSN left the table pretty early. Regarding US Soccer and MLS rights.

Huge step though. Hopefully it pays off since now they're having consistent National TV times at 5 PM and 7 PM for Fox and ESPN on Sunday and another game on Friday with Univision, Which is going to make their MLS Games available in English.

Regarding the 30 invited. Pretty interesting who they called up. Don't see Julian Green making the squad unless we get hit with the injury bug,

If anyone's been following the story about the US women's team and their open coaching job. It's been filled by the internim coach Jill Ellis. I think they have two friendlies coming in June against France.

Anyone catch the first part of the show on ESPN? Really cool, a lot of history I either never knew or forgot about, some good stuff about Julian Green and how he came to choose the US. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Erik Palmer-Brown is going to make his SKC debut today because he's the only CB available.

...and he gives up a pk and gets a red card..

Rough day for him and SKC as a whole. You had to just know with so many missing parts it was going to be difficult. The pk was just him freaking out after an unlucky bounce and his second yellow was because his challenge was just barely too slow. He didn't play bad, maybe a little nervous-looking, but not bad. And he definitely has the size and strength for a CB at 17 so that's exciting. Not sure what they will do next week now, Collin and Opara really need to get healthy fast.

I'm with you on this one

LB: Fabian Johnson
LCB: Matt Besler
RCB: Geoff Cameron
RB: Timmy Chandler

Besler is the only lock IMO though. He's a solid center back. Fabian will be in the first XI somewhere, hopefully it's left back because that's naturally his best position. Timmy Chandler would bring some serious pace, so I hope Jurgen gives him a chance. Then I'm just praying to god that Omar Gonzalez isn't the first choice next too Besler. He makes so many terrible errors, I just couldn't trust him trying to stick with guys like Ronaldo, Gyan, all the germans, etc. for 90 minutes.

I'm terrified we'll end up seeing a Beasley-Besler-Gonzalez-Evans back four though. That would be a nightmare.

This isn't USMNT related, but I don't care. We'll just say that he plays on the same club as 3 guys in the 30-man camp. But you must see this goal by Obafemi Martins if you haven't yet....

I'm going to try to move this thing past the raging wildfire of Landon's exclusion. First, I really am digging the fact that JK named the final roster so early. I'd much rather go into the 3 friendlies with the focus being on the guys who are going to Brazil instead of taking time away to allow more competition among the 30-man preliminary roster.

Two, Klinsmann confirms that Cameron is a center back, a decision that I want to take out for dinner and make sweet love to.

D, the door has not necessarily closed completely on Landon to Brazil.
