Wrong. Feilhaber was called into the 2012 January camp and played in a friendly against Venezuela. I was at that match and Feilhaber had a full on meltdown with the ref. The ref was horrible in that match letting Venezuela basically tackle guys in the box on corners, but Benny's reaction was way over the top. I'm talking full-on toddler, temper tantrum type stuff. I have no idea if this is part of the reason why Klinsmann hasn't called him in since, but it's pretty well known that Feilhaber is kind of just an asshat in general. He's a talented player, but if he's not getting caps I think it's likely he's the one who lit the match and burned down that bridge.

And the full on hate about Bradley is weird.

You can always bet Smart guy Shag will find the one exception. A Friendly 3.5 yrs ago does disprove never, but really was that necessary.

Plus if you havent seen Benny mature since the fall of 2013 you havent been paying attention.

Look at those brilliant ******* square balls from Bradley to Jones and Jones back to Bradley. Thing of beauty. **** the hell off Jurgen. Central Mid is **** again tonight. Sick of all the smart guys Jurgen included that think Bradley is anything more then a defensive mid at this level.

Zardes couldn't get his head to a ball Wood buries in 1st half. Now Zardes misses a sitter Wood would have buried 2nd half. Great changes to the lineup Jurgen.

Zardes off Wood on, Jones off Nagbe on this half should be the changes

The 2016 Copa America dates were announced today along with the 4 top seeds. The US, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil will all be in their own groups with the remaining teams assigned to groups by draw later. Based on recent rankings, the pots for the draw would look like this:

Pot 1: United States, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina
Pot 2: Chile, Colombia, Uruguay and Ecuador
Pot 3: Costa Rica, Paraguay, Peru and Trinidad-Tobago-Haiti winner
Pot 4: Jamaica, Panama-Cuba winner, Bolivia and Venezuela.

The US will open the tournament in Santa Clara, CA on June 3 with it's other group matches played in Chicago (June 7) and Philly (June 11).

A US game in Chicago, music to my ears. Also might try to get there for that semi final game.

Some news on the USMNT front, Jordan Morris turned down a contract from Werder Bremen to sign with the Seattle Sounders. Pretty big pick up for the MLS. Should get some first team minutes.

There are reports that Matt Miazga is about to be signed by Chelsea. He left January camp with the National Team and is on his way to London. It doesn't surprise me that he's headed to Europe, but Chelsea is a pretty huge step. Hopefully he doesn't get lost in the netherworlds of lower division club loans and reserve team football.

Why Chelsea, as an American soccer fan married to a Polish woman, was hoping he would get somewhere I could root for him. Other than that good for him. Hope it works out.

That's exactly what is going to happen. Looking forward to seeing him play for Derby County in 3 years.

Why any younger player would sign for Chelsea at this point is beyond me. They sign all these young promising players and never give them a chance with the 1st team. Why not go sign for a team that will actually give you a chance to play?

I'd bet several dollars that he'll be loaned out somewhere to get some first team experience. Probably still better experience than the MLS though.

Miazga's transfer is complete. Kinda wished he would've stayed in the MLS for one more year, unless he gets minutes for Chelsea of coarse.

Anybody up for a scoreless draw? It's USA v. Canada tonight! The match is on FS1 if anybody wants to watch. And I heard from somebody that Klinsmann has told McKay to stay home. What's up with that?

I don't want to throw Gyasi out of the player pool, but for a guy that has been pretty much an automatic starter for JK for a while now, he's been pretty meh overall.

Agreed. He's been very unimpressive recently. He has great runs but his touch is letting him down.

Finlay had a nice assist after a poor showing against Iceland. Also, glad to see Jozy in form again. He's been great.
