Saw a tweet on his list the other day. Every single one of them was from the west coast. Apparently he's not wanting to venture much further.

ISU recruited him Zabo out of HS. Could be a fall back option if Noskowiak were to not commit.

@sdutzeigler: PG Kevin Zabo will NOT return to SDSU next season. He initially said he intended to stay but after consulting family he'll transfer.

From Toronto originally, maybe an OTZ connection?

It's like moneyball. We were innovative and adopted the new strategy, but now the powerhouses are doing the same thing and there's nothing we can do about it because their resources and name rec are superior to ours.

We already got Burton mid-year, and Babb just now.

Burton was pre-TJ and we were in full blown transfer mode still.

I realize we got Babb, but that's a little different. He had didn't match the normal template for previous transfers we've taken from a proven-production standpoint and we passed on him previously. But TJ recruited he brother to ISU so there was familiarity there.

I just hope we continue to hit the transfer market hard for at least half of our players because we're not in a position to fill 6-7 scholarships in the next 14 months (assuming Noskowiak has spoken for one already) with quality HS players.

I got a bad feeling that you are right on this.

I agree that it's going to be more difficult to recruit transfers going forward, but we have established ourselves as Transfer U. We have a reputation and a clear track record of success for transfers.

If we want to sign good transfers, we can still do that IMO.

People seem to forget when we landed each of our past top 5 or so recruits... typically May and June. It's only April 14th. Calm the F down people.

Agree we all have to have patience. But expecting a 'great' roster in 2016 is unrealistic, imo. At least not the ones we're used to from the past 4 years. I'm guessing the poster name of Jeremy would disagree with me, though, right?
