I really want us to remember this. When we are ******** about low attendance in November and Why it happens. This is why. This is a team we should easily be playing with, but we come out un-prepared and lacking discipline and the game gets away from us like a runaway train. There literally is only so much ISU fans can take.

And if anyone asks, I live in Illinois, had season tickets for 8 years after graduation, until my kids were old enough that they got into stuff of their own. I come to fewer and fewer games, and it's not losing games that's the problem, but the way we lose them. Where were we cursed?

It was stupid but you see similar stuff dozens of times a game, every game.

Definitely a stupid play, but also bad luck to be caught because stuff like that goes uncalled all the time. There's too much of it to be sure. When Iowa gets jacked up for their superbowl against us they act like LJ did on every single tackle.

That would be true if it wasn't on 4th down, in front of the ref, and 5 seconds after the play standing over a guy trying to get up. Just a complete A$$hole move. That world class stupid part doesn't happen "dozens of times a game."

Hope one day he's held accountable enough that it quits happening.

Damn... that was scary... Thought it was a fake..

Came to realization that UT is going to throw all sorts of strange looks out there for OU to have to prep for now if they stay up by a healthy margin

Damn proud of the defense this half, all things considered and removing the LJ bonehead play.

Re: When is LJ going to be held accountable.

Wow! Someone needs an emotion controller. Either you've never faced adversity or don't know anyone who's done anything stupid before. We'll lose this game and many others without LJ. Was it a dumb move? Yes. Do I think he really meant to headbutt the guy? No. It was a circumstance of the moment.

I'm surprised teams don't all punt like that when they're near the 50 or further. It's not like you need to hit some killer punt from there and the running gives your team as much time as a traditional hanging punt. Once in a while if there's a ton of room you get a first down from it.
