****Official Stop Complaining About Student Turnout Thread****

Idea:
They get rid of student tickets and CA.
Keep same student seating format.
Students can buy $10 ticket for each game.
Tickets would become available 2 weeks before each game.
Students can pay with UBill by swiping ISU Card.
Any left over tickets turn into GA.
Seating would still be first come first serve.

What does everyone think of that?

I don't know. There are quite a few non conference games I would not pay $10 to attend. I go because I have season tickets. $10 pays for a 12 pack by the way.

I think the second tier student section should be turned into general admission(no student wants to sit up there). Keep the students sections behind the baskets but then add the seating behind the bench up to the first concrete divider to the student section. This will reduce the number of student seats but I guarantee it would be full.

The people that complain about the student section are the same people that need Royce White to wave his arms to motivate them to cheer.

Example: Royce White huge dunk, student section going crazy, timeout opposing team, Royce White walks towards bench waving his arms, complainers stand up start clapping.

So, how many years have you been a student? Butts in seats is greater than standing all game.

Also, it's more difficult for alumni to get to the arena the students. Most alums tend to live more than 3 miles away from the arena.

I sat in the 200 level of cyclone alley, if you are concerned about it tell people to buy tickets and sit there. No one checked my ticket.
