You know, this is the last year that the committee can be extra kind to Iowa State without accusations of Pollard tampering. Go for it.

Kansas...no Conference Championship...no Conference Tourney Title...projected as a 4 seed. Excellent.:D Rock Chalk....

The only reason they are still in consideration for a 4 seed is the fact that they didn't lose at the Phog . . . an irrelevant concept in the NCAA tournament.

I think most agree that we now hover over a 5/6 seed line. Now, what opponent? A Murray State draw would be an appealing story line. What do ya think?

I think we would be a bad storyline for Ja and Murray.

Agree with that. I think if ISU had played to their full potential that they would’ve won the conference pretty easily. ISU would’ve been a 2 seed with more consistency, so I’m excited to see if they can keep playing like they did this week because we are in for a fun ride if that’s the case.

March really is the best time of year, and Selection Sunday is like my Christmas.

Seriously, is there a better sports experience than the Dance? Maybe for some the World Cup, but there have been some Dud Superbowls. Over the course of three weeks, nothing compares to the Dance - and Cinderella is gonna wear "Maroon & Gold" :)

I don't think Houston in the second round is a very good match up. Without the late second shot by Michigan last year, they could've been a final four team and they are better this year. 2 big guys on the interior scare me.

I guess the positive with Houston is you know that your loss will eventually be vacated with Sampson down there.

None of the games are easy...they are all hard...but this tourney is 90% match ups and 10% luck..

New Mexico State scares me in that they have never won a ncaa game..ever. Bound to happen at some point.

Murray state I’d take in heart beat...they have one great player and rest are meh.

Oregon also a possibility...idk man they destroyed Washington and have several atheltic PFs..

St. mary’s? They just beat a potential 1 seed...and fairly easily.

Now if we somehow land a 4 seed I’ll feel a bit better...huge gap in talent from 13 seeds and 11-12 seeds..

Utah State is another one I wouldn't want.

Regardless, we can't control who we play. Just have to be ready to go. This team will be going into the dance with a ton of confidence, which is fantastic considering where they were a couple weeks ago.
