1. ISU players no one thought were any good when compared to B1G and SEC, at least according to those leagues and the media.
2. Players that only barely were 3 stars because they played for ISU, but now because they play for the mighty pedo st, they magically are 4 stars. (at the same time anyone that is rated over 86, before transferring to ISU, magically have their rating dropped to 86 or less)
3. WSU has been demoted in standing and money, because of the B1G, not because of ISU. Similarly how they are trying as hard as they can to demote the Big 12 as well.
4. ISU is taking about half from WSU that Pedo st is taking from ISU, the vast majority of Pedo U transfers at this point are from ISU, not so with those transferring into ISU, which is getting players from all over. At least at this point.
5. its cringe for any player to magically call someplace "home" when their last place was also called "home", the only pass on this is when a player from said state/location, transfers back to where they are from, like our recent transfer from Iowa, about an hour from Ames, he gets to claim he is coming "home" But because someone calls it out at pedo st, doesnt mean its not the same for wherever say it.
6. It is possible some of the ISU players were actually not that good. That is also not to say some were very good here too. Just because someone says this player or that player is not good, does not mean they all are. Multiple things can be true at once. That being said I dont think too many here think every player leaving sucks, but I do think many are saying that because the B1G and SEC egos and media says they are so much better than the Big 12, that if that is true they are supposedly not good enough for those leagues, with a hint of sarcasm. (but we all know the theory that those 2 leagues are far and away superior is complete and total BS)
7. Saying "loyal sons forever true" is only ok if they actually mean it, if not, then well that is the problem.
8. And to remind you, you are on an ISU board, of course the bias is going to lean heavily towards ISU. If you go to your MSU board do you expect people to love up on Michigan and not have any bias toward MSU? Do you expect them to not have B1G blinders on? Doubt it.
