Kinda wonder if some of these guys weren’t trying to leverage being one of the last guys into a big payout?

JFFb apparently has a list, he’s checking it twice, gonna find out who’s realistic & nice.

I don’t really know where Sama could go that he would have a better shot to showcase his abilities next year than he would at ISU. But whatever.
I read somewhere that Sama was the highest paid player on the team last year due to the K State snow game. The blue bloods came after him hard. If true or even close to true, no way JFR was going to pay him that level.

If any/all of the kids had an inflated value for whatever reason... agent, prior head coach, pissed off coach that didn't get the job stinking up the process....Jimmy is cleaning house. Good for him as he has no other choice.

Haven’t read all this thread. Just wonder if players have been advised by the new coaching staff to move on. I hope not. There are too many good athletes that are moving on. Does not make sense with one year to go.
The cupboard is bare.
The players we’ve come to see develop-cheered for and enjoyed watching have elected to go somewhere else. Why? What does this say about the character? Is it really the best version of themselves?

Absolutely, it’s hilarious that every time a college athlete prays about what to do, God counsels him to take more NIL money.

Yes, I realize 90% of the players use the same transfer announcement template, most ending with “with that said, I will continue my career at School X.” You just gotta laugh at it.

It's just so transparently cheesy to say that God led each of them to do exactly what they always wanted to do anyway.
Do you remember when we had the LB from Texas decommit at the last minute, and his dad came to this site and lectures everyone that it wasn’t his sons decision, he prayed to god and he told him to play for a different school, so ISU fans can’t blame him for breaking his word? it was God making the choice!

Can you imagine the freak out if Mouser was HC? The good players would have followed Campbell and left. They were not staying for Taylor Mouser. Mouser would have virtually no network to get coaching staff and players. Campbell would have taken the coaches and staff he wanted. Just like now. And we’d be drifting aimlessly with an inexperieced HC with only 2 years OC experience in a job he was given out of loyalty. We’d be screwed.
