I think it’s unfair to jump on Rogers this early and given the circumstances, but the fact that he has retained virtually no one is something to keep an eye on.

You're right. We just have to give him time. I'm sure coming into a new program and having to put together a competitive roster is not an easy thing to do. There are already a ton of players in the portal, with lots more to come. Hopefully he can bring in some talented kids.

Kids do have to enter the portal to get their offers. We need to chill and wait. Even with Campbell we were taking FBS and G5 guys along with some FCS players with strong work ethic. Rogers has some great assistants.

He will have three years. If we haven’t reached 6-6 by Year 3 then there will need to be a move. I do think Rogers should be able to get us back to that level.

Who knows, he still might in year 1 like he did at WSU. Plenty of winnable games. Won’t hold him to it if he doesn’t though.

Yep... all of this was completely JP's fault was definitely the narrative pushed by pretty much everyone that mattered at all. It was sad to see. I can't imagine what all the football players were likely being told when this all went down.

Let's just say... I don't think it's "normal" to lose this many players in a coaching change... that's all.

Watching the 49’ers last night…their D is 40-50% smaller college players.

The NFL is full of them. So clearly talent develops after HS or coaches miss guys.

The portal is great for those kids to get a bigger opportunity than what was offered to them at 17.

You’re crazy to think JR or any other coach is bringing in small school kids if they couldn’t compete.

Someone said that if players enter the portal they can come back if they don't get any bites. **** that. Don't let them back. Let them transfer to Upper Iowa or Graceland.

What do you think alot of campbells first class had? While many didnt shake out of that class there ended up being 4-5 nfl players in that group. Honestly rating wise currently class looks a lot better than the 2016 class.

Bidding isn’t going up…it’ll be going down for most of these guys imho. Too many options, and coaches and schools are wising up to the costs and inability to buy a championship or even a season.

It's the owner of CF, Dennys son in low that lives isu. I don't know how much he actually loves the university, he had more ties to DMAAC.
