NFL: ***Official Playoffs Thread***

Packers may be a small market but they have a huge fan base. How they survive in GB. Go to away games and there is a large amount of cheeseheads at them.

I was thinking more about neutral fans. The Niners have gotten far more exposure this season than the Packers.

I'd wonder if the Patriots not being in the game may draw more viewers. I remember having very little interest in last year's game.

Assuming the 49ers hold on, Kansas City vs San Francisco might be the most even match up I can remember for a Super Bowl

That's tough. I would guess KC would be a very slight favorite
Not sure either. Niners have a great defense and they also don’t seem to have a problem scoring. I’ll go niners -1 for my guess. But I agree should be an awesome match up.

Should be a great super bowl. I’ve got the Chiefs by a touchdown but it could go either way.

Interesting that they talked about Steve young talking about having people’s back when I remember him being the one responsible for running teammates off when he played.

Like who? Not saying he didn't, but I just don't remember that. I remember him being in the shadow of Joe Montana, and then basically retiring earlier than expected due to concussions.

BTW Jerry Rice is 57 and looks like he could still play.

Agree. I’m biased, because I love Steve Young, but I can’t think of any players that he could have run off? Maybe Ricky Waters?
