Just looked on the Wiki and it mentioned the rift with the locker room being divided on him and Montana, but Montana left and was pretty much done anyway.

Montana was past his prime at that point. What did he play, like 2 seasons with the Chiefs. Niners has to make a decision on risking losing a younger Young to hold on to an aging Montana. Seems like an easy choice.

JOe was the biggest of players while at the Niners. Was not a lot of love between those two when Joe went to KC. There was another backup that Young turned on that got nasty I remember. When Joe left, there were some players that wanted him to stay and play, those were the ones that were the ones that Young lobbied to toss. Steve felt he was superior to Montana but couldn’t win the big one until SF went hard into free agency and got players like Prime Time. I remember one backer (thinking norton) that signed a 150k contract that paid a $1MM super bowl bonus.

49ers DL will dominate the Chiefs OL and the 49ers won’t have problems scoring on the Chiefs defense.

The Chiefs were 3rd the League in sacks allowed this year and their defense is ranked 1st over the last 5 weeks.

    Have you watched them play?

Naw, the Chiefs can't be stopped. This is the year they do it, Mahomes is not going to be denied.

Get out of here with your facts and statistics and such. Haven't you heard, they're only good cause Mahomes. Plus Reid can't win the big one.

When in doubt go with the better QB. Mahomes is the best in the league right now. Jimmy G is a caretaker QB. I think SF probably has the better roster top to bottom but elite play at quarterback is the great equalizer.

Yeah, you hate to jump to conclusions about anyone's mental well-being but almost nothing that has happened for him the last six months or so suggests that this ends well unless he gets some help. Just more and more troubling. I wish we could go back to just making fun of him for a cryotherapy mishap.
