***Official Olympics Discussion***

More of an Olympic commercial post here, but is anyone else pretty geeked up for "Revolution" this fall? NBC has been promo'ing the h@ll out of it.

It looks great, but i wonder how long it can last being that 1. its on NBC (a ratings disaster the last few years) and 2. being a more serialized show, will have a harder time maintaining an audience long-run (unlike say, a sitcom where people can miss an episode or two and not be lost, or jump in anytime without seeing prior episodes)

Other than that, it looks very cool and its definitely on my list to watch.

I think the premise of the show is unique, but considering it's NBC, they'll either find a way to ruin it or they'll cancel it just as it was starting to get good.

Did anybody else catch the women's field hockey game between the Netherlands and New Zealand just a few minutes ago on the NBC Sports Channel? I think I'm in lust with both teams, especially the Dutch.

That Dutch team is loaded. I have no idea how good they are at field hockey, but they must have beauty requirements to be on that team.

Get over yourself.

I'm not convinced. A real American wouldn't just finish. A real American would overcome his adversity and bring home the win.

Really? Is this some kind of joke? The guy is in the relay event and he's not even the last leg. The US finished 2nd in the race. 99% of people would have either run a lot slower or just stopped. He continued at his normal pace if you actually watch the video.

And if this isn't a joke it's still ridiculous on another level. It's as if you're suggesting America is the greatest at every sport in the entire olympics that they are so much better than any other country that they can win even with a broken leg.

I should have been more over-the-top with it.
