***Official Olympics Discussion***

Destiny Hooker can hit, but that is it. Our women's team doesn't look that good. Setting isn't very good. Jordan Larson is pretty damn good though. Archery was surprisingly fun to watch.

I like the Summer Olympics just fine, but Winter Olympics are the bees knees, IMO.

I could watch curling like 15 hours a day.

But I am enjoying the volleyball right now. Volleyball players are crazy athletes.
^This

I also enjoy speed skating, hockey, and pretty much any ski/snowboarding event.

Did anyone catch the Archery Final against Italy today? So clutch by the Italians

Pretty damn impressive and clutch. Needed a 10 on the last shot to win and got it. 8 would have lost and 9 would have forced a shootout. TEN! Silver for the US is not a bad thing

Following all women's beach volleyball action. this early am beach volleyball match featured the Chinese team seeded 2 lost to Russian team seeded 23:smile:.

Is the track and field stuff in the second week? Want to catch both Lolo and Lisa.

USA men BB plays France tom am. France has Tony Parker, and could of had Joakim Noah but his ankle is still bothering him (Noah's dad I believe is French so that is why Noah would of played for France if healthy)

Destiny Hooker = first member of the All-Olympic name team

What Android app should i download to follow these?

I have the NBC Olympics Live Extra app on my iPad, and it is also available for Android. That has live feeds of pretty much everything going on, whenever something is happening. I've only played around with it a little bit today, but it seems to work great.

It's mainly designed for watching things live. There are a few highlight clips available on the app, after the event is done, but you are kind of stuck with whichever highlights NBC chooses to give you (didn't see any fencing highlights available, for example, but you could have watched it live).. You have to be a customer of a cable or satellite provider has offers both CNBC and MSNBC. And of course, you have to put up with an ad every time you switch between events. But if you want live events, it seems to be the thing.

There's also another general NBC Olympics app, that says it offers results and coverage, probably has recorded events too, but I am not using that one. I don't believe you're restricted to being a CNBC/MSNBC customer to use it. And I believe the nbcolympics.com site streams a lot of live action, as well.

Ryan Seacrest as a NBC Olympics reporter...
He is on American Idol on FOX
He does the ABC News Years EVE
He is now signed by NBC for the Olympics..

When is CBS going to hire him for NCAA basketball? LOL JK

I don't have a problem with what she said but could see where people could with the Colorado incident so fresh on people's minds.

To me Michael Phelps has always been a terrible interview. Even going back to China, I've had the impression he's inarticulate and a numb-brain.

Track is usually the 2nd week after swimming and gymnastics finish up. I figured Lolo would get some heat for her tweet, not the first time she has upset some people. She is a good follow on twitter, as she keeps it pretty "real".

Yeah. At the US Trials, she said she was going to fart in the starting blocks. Lol
