I can't fathom trading from 10 down. They aren't going to get anybody nearly as good at 15 or 20.

Good pick by bulls imo. Fills a major need. Gonna be a good player.

You and I are polar opposites on this trade after reading your posts. I believe LaVine will be really good. He was starting to breakout prior to his injury. I also believe Dunn is a legitimately good PG who was stuck behind a better one in Minnesota. I'm not sure how you can call him a bust when he didn't get a chance to really play.

Markkanen has bust written all over him. I will admit though that I'm not a fan of big guys who can't rebound or play defense. He reminds me of Andrea Bargnani. If I'm the Bulls and I'm rebuilding I take Monk or Giles with that pick. Dunn will almost certainly start for the Bulls. Rondo won't be there come October, MCW is better suited to be a backup, and their other PG's are garbage.

The first round is pretty loaded for this draft. They might be able to snag a guy like Giles at 15 who has huge upside if he can stay healthy. At 20 they can take a chance on one of the better Europeans in this draft, or maybe a young big like Allen or Bam.

You think Markkanen will be a bust and you want them to take Giles? If Giles athleticism doesn't come all the way back, and it sure looks like it's not, that's a totally wasted pick. The Giles we saw at Duke last year wasn't even a D-League player.

I'm surprised guys are so high on a guy that tore his acl twice and averaged 3 ppg in college. It's highly highly unlikely he stays healthy. He won't amount to anything in the league

I get that. But they could have had Malik monk who I'd take 10 times out of 10

Cal has his own 30 for 30 and is the only head coach that ESPN will show tonight.

Can't believe NCAA doesn't see a problem with this. Can't believe other elite coaches like Self and K don't speak out on this either. Gives Cal such an unfair huge advantage with the five star recruits.
