*** Official Milwaukee Brewers 2025 thread ***

Just called up Chad Patrick because of all the injuries to pitchers. Record is 3-7? He is penciled to start the nightcap. Hopefully Peralta can have a game in the afternoon tilt because have a feeling Patrick will get lit up.

Assuming Woodruff will start tomorrow.

Peralta came through in spades. Hopefully they can get it in tonight and Patrick keeps the ball in the park. I think if the guys can give him 6-7 runs they can sweep.

Dropping the double header yesterday wasn't great but honestly at this point I'm thinking take at least one more game and get healthy moving forward. A lot of tweaked this or that last night

Tonight Miz is pitching and he is either very, very good.....or very, very bad. There seems to be no in between with him right now. When the guy learns to "pitch" and not just throw he will be as tough as there is. Hopefully tonight we see the very, very good and not like what we saw against Cincy a few nights ago where he gave up 8 runs in the first 2 innings.

And even with yesterday you just have to enjoy the crap out of this. They weren't even suppose to be in the picture this year behind Chicago, Cincy and St. Louis.

Well, not the best 5 game series ever, but considering all the screaming coming from Wrigley..... just lost one game in the standings. Wish they could have thrown up a %100 healthy lineup. Hall and Chourio would have really helped. Especially since this is the start of 18 games in 19 days.

Priester threw a good game. Miz needs to stop being so wild.

Down goes Ortiz on the 10 day IL. Hopefully that's all it will be. Logan Henderson and DL Hall still down for the pitching crew and so is Jackson Chourio. That's some talent not playing right now. Really don't need any more of these.

Better to be hurt now than late September. Just get healthy and don't take a nosedive in the L column

Bauers at first....Durbin at second....Monasterio at ss and Zeigler at 3rd. Interesting line up tonight.

Well......another player (pitcher) goes on IL. Keep this up and pretty soon it will be the Nashville Brewers.

Megill is now out with a flexor strain. Might be done for the season. Since Miz returned just the pitching staff has lost Hall, Henderson, Anderson and MeGill. This while in the midst of 19 games in 18 days.

If they hold on to the central and keep the best record in the national league.......it will be a miracle. And Murph should be given coach of the decade award.

Hall is down, Anderson is down, Megill is down, Miller is now down and Henderson is done for the year. The bullpen is shot. It will take a miracle for them to hold on the next 4 weeks.

I don’t know how and why the 162 game schedule ever got started , but there always has been too many games with such minimal off days. Yes, the sport is less high impact comparatively to other pro sports, but it’s just too much. And now with starting pitchers barely going 6 innings anymore, this leads to bullpen fatigue every year.

I know they are short arms but why the heck did they call up Payamps? If Gasser is healthy enough regardless of experience he needs to be given a chance. The guy is really good.

Aaaaaaaaand down goes Nick Mears on the 15 day IL. Bullpen is like a episode of the Walking Dead.

Running out of quality arms when you are calling up Payamps and Rodriguez.

Let Miz go 7 today. Looked shaky first 2 innings and then squared things away and looked great. My guess is depending how the bullpen injuries shake out.....we will see starters going an extra inning or more especially come post season time.

Magic number is 6 with 10 to play. So if they go 5-5......Cubs need to go 10-0. They go 4-6.......Cubs need 9-1. I like the Brewers odds.

Magic number is now to 3..........but with Miz now looking like bullpen material, Quintana being injured and not knowing if or when Mcgill returns......hope Patrick is ready and they can get Gasser some throwing before post season.
