*** Official Milwaukee Brewers 2025 thread ***

Mears coming in this soon...............we are in trouble. I take it then Priester is going game 3. Cubs, you don't win this I don't know what to tell you.
Sounds like it was designed to be a bullpen game. Not sure how much I like that but Ashby wasn't suppose to go far

Won a post season game with the bullpen. Didn't see that coming. Hoping Priester is on point Wednesday because if he is, there is a better than even chance the Brewers sweep.

Murph has forgot more about baseball than I'll ever know........but from the outside looking in I am not so sold on starting Lockridge in center and Bauer at first. Vaughn is killing it both at the plate and in the field. Perkins has struggled at the plate......but his defense in center is first rate. This isn't some regular season series where you go shucks......let's try this lineup today. I think you go with the best and get Chicago in your rearview mirror as fast as possible. Like I said.......Murph is a gun slinger. I would have never thought to win a post season game with nothing but the bullpen throwing either. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Pitching is what it is with the injuries.........but Murph needs to stop messing with the batting order or personal in the game. They don't need a rest. This isn't the long grind of a regular season. Why change what's working?

I'm going to put this on Murph. You have runners on first and third with one out.....Cubs pitcher is on his heels and you......bunt. That's because that is all Lockridge is good for, and the Cubs knew it. You fooled no one. With Tallion still pitching should have put in Perkins as a left handed bat.

Get a day off and come back with a complete different batting order and lineup. If Peralta is going tomorrow he better be on his game, because who is there if they go back to Milwaukee for game five? Murph treated this almost like a throw away game........and here we are.
