I swear I read poorly written story that he left Athens to go back to his "home town" of Augusta. He went to high school in Louisiana. He was born in TX...he lives there obviously for income tax reasons now, but that does not make him a Texan.
I love reading stories about golfers from California paying their income taxes....so F*&^ed up.
