***Official March Madness Thread***

Looking like the Big 10 is a lot tougher than given credit for. Purdue stomped Nova.

Nova lost to Furman, UPenn, and St. Johns..and barely beat LaSalle and only beat DePaul by 5 at home. 8 of their wins this year were by single digits. They were probably the weakest 6 seed technically.

You can slice it up any way you want, but the Big Ten has brought it thus far in the tournament. We will see how Sunday goes for them, but credit is due at this point. Whether Nova was weak or not, Purdue beat the crap out of them. Iowa, Minnesota and Ohio State all beat teams seeded better than they were. And their only first round blemish was Wisconsin, who lost to a team that is on fire right now in Oregon. Even Maryland went toe to toe with LSU yesterday and lost on a buzzer-beater.

Kenpom says it’s about 50/50 one of the ACC 1 seeds goes down today. I expect all three to win comfortably.

Don't think so. Nova was Big East champs again, and beat a St. Marys team in the first round that had just routed Gonzaga.
Purdue's win was very impressive - don't know if they can shoot like that from the outside again, but to minimize the Big Ten's performance in the tourney this year is laughable.

So what will Tennessee do to allow Iowa to win this thing somehow when they are the far superior team than Iowa?
