This is a way we would lose a game like this
I'll say every time we are in a close game and there's a chance for a foul late, we never get the call. And some people on here say that officials will never call that. They clearly do.
I don't know why they are calling it controversial. It was a legit foul.
Refs wouldn't allow that. I tried subtly jerking my arm when the guy was shooting once and the ref told me I couldn't even do that. The guy made the FT, I'm pretty sure, but I was hoping to be a small distraction.I've always wondered... Is it just general expected sportsmanship that the defenders on the free throw block don't just scream things at the the shooter? I mean, in a situation like that, I think I'd stand as close as possible to the shooter, and scream or move just as he's shooting.

I guess I get not jumping or something, but I have seen defenders put their hands up. And I'm not sure what the call would be if you yell something at your teammate across from you as he's shooting. Is it a technical? And for what, distraction?Refs wouldn't allow that. I tried subtly jerking my arm when the guy was shooting once and the ref told me I couldn't even do that. How do elite refs at a Final Four miss a double dribble like that.
I’d love to see Sparty lose on a blown call now. These are supposed to be the good NCAA refs.
