*** Official ISU vs. Western Illinois Postgame Thread ***

this team will go as far as the Turnover ratio allows them - QB play specifically is key. Tonight wasn't a good night for QB play, sure the stats are ok, but the turnovers have to stop to get big wins. If they do, put me down for 7-8 wins

Lots of mistakes on offense, they really should have been up by more, by the way they played the first two possessions. But the defense was once again very solid, and will probably keep us in a lot of games this year.

If our passing game had any type of heart beat, we would have put up 50+ pts easily.
Our defense looks fantastic.
Nealy is going to be a stud.
I really hope Richardson has an accurate arm.
I would have liked to see our starting offense get one more nice scoring drive before coming out, just to give them and our fans some confidence going into bye week.
We're 3-0 for the second straight year!

They gotta figure some things out in the running game, and limit the TOs, but it was mostly as expected other than that.

And please, nobody get arrested during the bye week.

We were trolled with Richardson. Didn't get to see one throw :(

Plenty to work on, but it was never close, and that's what I thought was most important for this game.

As John Walters said, halfway to Bowl eligibility.

I'd really like to see ISU do a little bit better than just bowl eligibility this year. Would like to see us get over the 6 win hump this year. Would love to see 8+ wins. The D is certainly good enough for it - the real question is will the offense be good enough to not continuously hang the D out to dry?
