*** Official ISU vs. Texas Gameday Thread ***

I'm still waiting on Rhoads to end this Steele Jantz experiment.

I will say this now: go for it. If you cannot get 3", then F*&^ it, we should not be playing Texas in the big12. no second guessing here because it is on 30 versus their 30....what is the difference?

Yeah, they blitz every third down, I mean it is clearly coming. And we can't do anything. These 3rd and 5 or 's we gotta have something to beat that blitz.

Texas has a great offense. I'm a little surprised, but not shocked. We had to know they were going to have some success and score some points. It has been a little easier than I had thought it would be though. The sad part is our offense. Texas' defense is TERRIBLE. Kansas ran all over them. The fact that our offense can't do anything against them is SAD, SAD, SAD.

You should probably go read some books about football, and actually learn about the game. Then you can come back and post with the adults.
I played it for 6 years. The next time the oline throws a pick in the redzone it will be their first

How they aren't ready for this blitzing Texas is doing I don't know. They have been doing it all year.

We need to keep running it and wear down this defense. Need to execute better though and not make stupid pass play calls when the running game is being effective.

There is more to a pick then just a bad throw from the QB. Maybe the QB was being rushed. Maybe the receiver didnt run the right route. You can't say 100% of the time that every incompletion is the QB's fault. I didnt see the play, so I cant say this confidently, but it is not just his fault.

1 or two good plays sprinkled amongst 4 or 5 bad offensive plays will not do it. We cannot sustain 15 plays it takes to even kick a fieldgoal.
