Couldn't have had any less life beforehand.. I hope we can keep this thing close into halftime.
We have inferior effort and/or talent with our defensive back tackling that is glaring today.....every pass play you can add 4 or 5 yards after contact to. disturbing.
Maybe a first baby step for our D would be to break up a pass or hurry Ash into an incompletion...

What is our reasoning for always playing about 10 yards off of the receivers at the line?

that last post was BEFORE the 3rd and 6 that went for 4 yards-two missed tackles-then 10 more.

being a negative pessimist does not make me a fair weather fan. not going to games when we are bad, would. although i half expect to loose every game we play, it does not make me cheer any less hard, or not go to games when i can. when i lived in iowa i went to every game and cheered my *** off no matter how bad nebraska or ksu were putting the beat down on us. till the final whistle i was on my feet cheering until the bloody end. i do not boo players or coaches and will outwardly berate those who do.
i guess i was not clear. but i would say there is a distinct difference.
i am not outwardly negative, just on the inside. this allows me to not get too down when we do lose, or when we are bad.
