As an Iowa State, I cherish Iowa State to take out another Big East team just like last year!!!
Thing to think about... Ohio St. Fans hate ND.... Perhaps their crowd will be pulling for ISU in Dayton. Problem for them though is that we would be a more dangerous squad to face in the next round.

Just looking through the stats, and it looks like ND is fairly good offensively, average defensive. Handles the ball well with good passing and few turnovers. Not a lot of steals on defense. Okay at defending the three. Seems like a decent match up for us.
Some have said ND is good on offense, well... I haven't seen them much, but saw ND play Georgetown about a month ago. ND played with 2 bigs on the blocks (not mobile, literally just standing there) and played like a high school team that was afraid to shoot. It was almost the old "1-4" offense, really unthreatening. Now I know G'town is great defensive team, so maybe that had something to do with it, but seemed to me like they just could not score at all. Remember thinking they would have no chance keeping up with ISU.
I guess I would worry about ND getting a lot of offensive boards and 2nd chance points. That's demoralizing.

Some rumblings on twitter there there might be a bombshell coming out about Jerian Grant....something about a fake girlfriend or something...hope it's distracting for them.

I agree, but I think we can really spreadh them out. Only seen them a couple times and they have some big somehwat slow guys... and they ain't Kansas either to take advantage of that, I hope at least.
