*** Official ISU vs KSU Gameday Thread ***

So we run our funky 3 RB set and score a TD. Why don't we try that sometime when we aren't down by 43?....too much to ask I know.

We did against Tech. Run for like 15 yards. Immediately went back to a 1-back formation on the next play.

Neely had more rushing yards than Sam had passing. Rohach almost gets a hundred yards passing!

Thankfully, you aren't up for the job.

Let me rephrase: What GOOD coach is going to stay here? We hired a fired defensive coordinator from Auburn (Rhoads), he did well here for 4 years and a moronic section of the phase base wants him fired for a bad year. Oh, and we will pay you the least amount of money in the conference. I'm sure lots of quality coaches are lining up for this job.

Believe it or not, there are a helluva a lot of good coaches that would come here for 2 million a year.

I'll take being good for a couple years and then that coach leaving. Hope we luck out and end up in a Northern Illinois like loop of just being good no matter the coach.

Someone tell me when Cyclone Reaction is about to start on the radio. I don't feel like hearing all the garbage from the players and coaches in the locker room show, nor all the 2 minute commercial breaks between 90 second programming segments.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! The announcers just said we played tough the entire game. Didn't say whether it was tough as rain, but I'll take it! Extensions all around for the staff!

Daley was our leading receiver with 26 yards.

What if the coach who wants to stay sucks? What do you do then?

I think it's somewhat unhealthy to have a coach where this is the ultimate for him. If ISU is his dream job, I think you've found yourself a giant red-flag.

I'd rather have a coach that aspires to be the next choice at Alabama. It would mean that he'd have to kill himself in order to be a viable option for them and we might actually be good while he's here.

I'm sure he'd expect that if he didn't get us to the next level that he'd be fired. Same as at any school in the country.

The fanbase doesn't love him anymore, I'd say. Pollard still does and that's all that matters, though.

We're going to be horrible next year, too. There's little doubt of that.

I'm sure we could find someone to come here, as much as CPR supporters would like us to believe that we couldn't.

I think we pretty much know what we have with CPR. I guess it comes down to whether or not you're satisfied with what he's brought and what he will likely bring.

Keeping him seems like giving up to me, but I understand why it doesn't to many others.

We should always be looking for the next level. He's never won more than 3 conference games in 5 years. I think we should try to get someone else who can.

While I disagree, I appreciate your well thought out post and respect your opinion. I'd much rather read these posts than the "Rhoads sucks, fire him" posts.
