***Official ISU vs. Kansas Part 3 Game Thread***

I gotta ask this. WIth everybody carping about the officiating, can't ANYONE see the incredible talent mismatch? The length, the hops, the quickness? We have some nice guys, but NOTHING to match what they have in their starting 5 and their next bunch off the bench....

Truth. We missed too many shots and made too many mistakes to beat a team with superior talent. Let's regroup and play better in the NCAA Tourney!

Not sure why everyone is complaining about the refs. Our defenders are out of position a lot, and thus not in guarding position when contact is initiated, basketball 101. The 1st time Kansas got lucky. The 2nd time the refs beat us. The 3rd time we just got outplayed. Painful to say that after the first two games, but that's all she wrote.

Now watch the d-bag hawkeyes win, should cap off a ****** Friday.

NO Frickn' Kidding' -- Hopefully the Spartans will get their heads out of their A**'s the 2nd half,,,,eeeeerrrr I mean GO Hawks...................................................NOT.................

Yeah, we see it.....that is why it is so enraging to see Self successfully manipulate the tone and tenor of how the Referees call a game. They are more talented than us. They probably win 7 out of 10 games with this present squad. Today was probably a typical game with the talent out there....without the home-cooking, I think KU still beats us.....BUT, we beat them TWICE earlier this year and those close games that we won against the odds were stolen by the poor refereeing. Capice?

Exactly, this is the ******** part about it all. They don't need the refs, yet they still get them game in and game out. In the end, the refs set themselves up for allowing us to complain about any bad call or non call from here on out, so just call the game as it's played. Yet, they still refuse to do it. I had a hawk fan sitting next to me at the bar during our game and listened to him call ******** on multiple occasions. Was this game decided by the refs, probably not, but when you add it all up at the end of the game, you'd be surprised how quickly one team can be forced into desperation mode, playing against a more talented squad, when the calls are always going against you.

Let's forget the KU game @ Hilton. The refs were to blame then. Another game was played against KU after that.

refs proably didnt make or break the game, but even the espn announcers were talking about stuff that was called poorly, the obvious foul when clyburn had the ball and ellis? was pretty much hugging him, and the ******** over and back. not to mention the jeff whitey maul fest and then the ticky tack fouls on the other side.
