***Official ISU vs. Kansas Part 3 Game Thread***

i think our missed FTs , stupid TOs, terrible breakaways, and nonexistant rebounding caused that one. Refs just cleaned the glass so we could all see it.
 
Their other post position stepped it up tonight. Our plan is to stop Withey and Ellis and Young played a hell of a game. We were outplayed in every aspect of this game tonight. Kansas wanted this game more unfortunately.

UGHHHHH ! No 2nd half attack plan. Not saying we got out coached but they shut down our spread O' - Congrats KU (you MF's -) On to the the Big Dance !

You aren't the only one. People complaining about the refs are just butt hurt. This loss is on us.

Also didn't the announcers say Ellis was really smart? That interview was close to Troy Davis material.
 
Favorite sequence of the game is when Niang was up in the air for a shot and Whitey jumped and body checked into him and nothing was called, and then next time down the court for kansas whitey goes up and babb i think reaches his hand in on whiteys rebound right before he goes up and they whistle it.
 
Fred has to Recruit better players or just keep losing to kansas every year..............

Reality Sucks.................Better Players=Better Results......

Yeah, we see it.....that is why it is so enraging to see Self successfully manipulate the tone and tenor of how the Referees call a game. They are more talented than us. They probably win 7 out of 10 games with this present squad. Today was probably a typical game with the talent out there....without the home-cooking, I think KU still beats us.....BUT, we beat them TWICE earlier this year and those close games that we won against the odds were stolen by the poor refereeing. Capice?
 
Not our greatest game ever....Would have liked to see us play some D, but it's hard when literally everything we do is called a foul by the refs. And I'll give Self credit; he works the refs better than anyone in the game.

But KU will be out in the second round when they don't have the Big 12 refs to help them along.

Good effort this season guys. Let's make a run in the NCAA's! (and at least we don't have to deal with an 8/9 now!)

We have great players but if we did have some BIGS we could go that had an inside presence we'd be unstopable.
