Watching the ESPN ticker and happened to walk upstairs when ESPN broke to the game. Unbelievable. We have found so many ways to lose a game and finally got a big win on the road no less. There has been a ton of adversity and negativity going on about this team. I hope they can some momentum from this but the BXII is tough and they will be playing a team that was NO. 1 earlier in the seaon. Gulping the kool aid by the gallons right now!
 
don't know if it's been said, but solid effort out of Buckley tonight...he played some nice D down the stretch, moving his feet and keeping himself in pretty good position.

The basketball team had just been in such doldrums this season that I'd all but forgotten there was a team up there in Ames.

It's even worse that I missed the biggest upset the program has had since the KU game in our last NCAA tournament season.

Does anyone have video up of the last moments of the game? Highlights?

I am sure you arent the only one. The last few years have taken a lot of fans to the edge and maybe this is the turning point. Quite frankly I dont know that it is but ISU has had too many downs and not enough ups. Drink the kool aid and jump back on the wagon.
 
I am officially done watching ISU basketball.

If that is what it takes for a win. I couldn't watch, had other commitments...:wink:
 
I still can't believe we did this. 8th ever on the road against a ranked team. And over a top five team at that. Wow.

So so so proud of the team. They deserved this win so much.
 
Soooo very happy for the TEAM and COACHES. We just played arguably the most physical team in America on their home floor on senior night and walked out with a victory.

I think we outrebounded them for the 2nd straight game too.

Amazing doesn't do it justice.

I friggin HATE K-State. Couldn't happen to a better team...LOL.

LOVE THE CYCLONES!!
 
I think our guys came out loose from the very start of the game. Nothing to lose tonight, and they played like it. I just wish we could have seen that all year long. This team had great potential.

DG was player of the game IMO. His calmness in the face of everything going on, and the way he directed the action throughout the game showed me he is a Big XII point guard, and I'm looking forward to his leadership next year.

I'm glad I bought the Brackins jersey this morning!!!!!! I'm all about superstitions!!! It's not getting washed until after the Big XII Tourney!

Yeah, he was great in overtime. Very nice to see. He was totally in control.
