Dekkers's fault on the INT, Manning on 2nd down with that run play was pretty bad though. .

Totally agree. If Texas goes up 21-7 or even 17-7.... it's most likely over. This offense just cannot come back from that kind of deficit I'm afraid.
Look what happens when they do hit him. It’d be like rewarding a td by giving the other offense 6 pts.
Sidenote: seeing how many points are scored against KU by other teams and how easily they gain yards on them is a clear testament to how bad our offense is. Their defense is straight poopoo.

Man, listening to these sportscast people talking about the Big 12 is so irritating. They have no respect for the Big 12 whatsoever. Basically you have to be undefeated to have a chance while the other conferences could have a loss and be a okay.
Oh, not necessarily. They could have an above average offensive line someday. Stranger things have happened, so anything is possible.

Drops, kick returns, not fair catching punts, false starts (freaking again), having to call MULTIPLE time outs because the play clock is running down and NO ONE knows what they are supposed to be doing (one of which was after a penalty where both teams had a HUGE amount of time to recoup and get ready for the next play), etc etc.
Fundamentals and discipline - 2 key areas where Iowa State is consistently bad.
Time for the defense to regroup and make a stop followed by moving the ball like we did on that scoring drive.
Purdy was so money in fact that he took the best ISU football roster ever with several NFL players on both sides of the ball to a 7-6 season.
We can play this game all we want to folks. Did Dekkers probably cost us this game today.... no doubt. Did Purdy cost us games in his career at ISU..... no doubt. Did Purdy also have a lot more talent to work with than Dekkers.... no doubt.
We'll see how this all plays out for Dekkers. He's got a long ways to go yet before he's done here. One thing we do know.... this staff has a way with destroying QB's.
RG III sure seems to be. I would have thought he would be a little less enthusiastic toward the horns.
