Gotta admit, at the time he was the least exciting out of Griffin, THT and Conditt. Also remember questioning what he was doing in the starting lineup when Wigginton got hurt. But it was apparent early on he was special and it's been awesome to see him climb from a bit of an afterthought recruit, to an intriguing prospect to a lottery pick all in just 2 years.

Yep, I think you're totally right.

His decision hardly came as a surprise, but I got a little teary-eyed just now watching that video and knowing that we won't see that kid wearing an ISU jersey anymore.

Thanks for being a Cyclone Tyrese. Good luck making money doing what you love next season (hopefully!)

Good luck Tyrese! 100% class! You deserve everything coming your way.

Really wish we could have seen you run with Wigginton, Horton-Tucker and Lard this year. I personally think it could have been one of our best teams ever.

Smart move. Who would have thought a skinny 3 star PG would turn into an NBA lottery pick in 2 years? Very happy for him. Enjoy the NBA and that 7 figure salary

Hearing TH going to the draft hits me different than guys in the recent past. This dude has done nothing but smile and bring positivity and heart each and every night we’ve seen him since he’s been here. One of the best basketball iq’s I’ve ever seen in college. So happy for him, go chase your dreams big man, you deserve it all

Good luck to him! Can’t wait to follow him in the NBA. I admit I was holding out a completely unreasonable hope that he would come back. But this is the right decision. I really would love to see him in the Lottery.
