tyrese is going to be such a great pro. day 1 the kid will sign for more guaranteed $$ than niang, morris, and thomas have made in their careers.

watching those b12 tourney replays on espn last week was an eye opener. while THT and LW were hogging the ball and taking bad shots, Tyrese was the guy cashing 3's, feeding the post, getting in the passing lanes for steals. what a player.

Good for him. Top ten picks get like $10M over the next couple years. Just hope he lands in a good situation. I keep seeing him projected to the Wizards. Hope that doesn’t happen!

He’s a great kid. But I doubt that will happen, he simply wasn’t here long enough.
Disagree.

Kevin Love was at UCLA for one year yet he donated $1M to their athletic department leading them to name the basketball strength and conditioning facility after him.

Excited to watch him in the NBA. Next year will be rough, but he needs to do what is best for him, this is an easy decision.

If a kid leaves college as a lottery pick, you can't say his college experience wasn't successful, but I think we only got to see about 80% of what he was capable of. Last year there was a lot of competition for offensive opportunities and not a lot of team ball. Tyrese wasn't mentally or emotionally ready to be a team leader or go-to guy. This year he was more than ready, but the team around him simply wasn't very good. It was fun last year to listen to the color guys who came in expecting to talk about the stat leaders and then finding Halliburton the best player on the floor. He may be the best all-around basketball player ISU has ever had.

I think it is different when they leave on these kind of terms. Played 2 years, and lottery pick vs played 2 years and didn't get drafted kind of thing. Georges would still be Georges if he left after 3 (even if he wouldn't be a top pick).
