Good to know. I don't care at all about you or your baseball or football camps, but make sure to come back to this topic and post updates in it.

Sad to see the host nation needed every single call they could get to squeeze a win out of the game. Officiating was bad, still not as bad as what happened to Spain in '02

hell I'd still be ****** if I was Spanish

Heard on the news this morning that they have banned those vevezulas (or however you spell it) at the world cup games this year. Those things drive me bat-spit crazy; that nasty droning sound eats away at your brain cells.

Hope it has made the games more watchable for y'all. :)

When I watched the replay of the Algeria game from 2010 I remembered just how unbelievably annoying those things were.

First time I heard it I thought there was a beehive right next to the mike. Also, apparently they're a health risk because it turns everyone's germs into a fine mist.

Several of the venues for the tourney games last March had a few going. I'd like to find the inventor and wrap one of those nasty things around his neck. Tightly. :)

Random Question: What would you rather happen, the US wins the World Cup, or ISU wins a BCS game? Is it even a fair question? I think both are on similar paths: ISU with facility upgrades, better recruiting, growing fanbase etc. And the US national team growing in popularity. Both have had brief moments of success: ISU in 2000 going 9-3, and the US getting to the quarter finals in 2002. Thoughts?

1) NCAA BBall title
2) World Cup
3) BCS - there isn't even going to be a BCS in a couple of years no one cares

I just realized that Cameroon, the country, has like a strange appendage on the north side of it so it can have access to Lake Chad. Hmmm, learn something new every day.

I enjoy soccer and was excited about the World Cup but something about that Brazil match really dampened my spirit. With all of the corruption in FIFA, it's hard not to see a terrible call like the one yesterday and not come to believe that this isn't all corrupt as ****.
