Greece is through. I feel bad for the Group B winner as they have to play them. Greece just takes teams out of their preferred style and grinds it out when they are defending well.

Greece really played well today and should have had a penalty on that bogus call on Karagounis. I like seeing them open it up a bit more, which was really lacking sometimes. They probably play Germany, though, and that is a tall order. Who knows though!

I make fun of it sometimes, but I do like soccer and enjoy watching it. I understand they're moving fast. However, the way these guys react to contact is an insult any human being with a p***s.

Happens in all sports. They take some crazy hits as well. England Sweden yesterday had a few 50 50 balls where one guy got laid out. Also, that Sweden guy that got drilled in the face by the keeper punt and a yellow for it, talk about a terrible moment for him.

It was the Czech Republic-Poland game around the 50 minute mark, and it got much, much better after those few plays. Both the games today had some decent action at the end.
