The only question now is whether the rumors that the Big 12 will need a title game are true. If so who would you all favor adding?

So how do we make this happen?

Slip a horse head in Pres Kaler's and Pres Easter's beds with a note that reads,

It might be time to move on.
Sincerely,
Your buddy, Jimmy D.

???

It might be worth a try...

The question wasn't what was realistic or feasible...

Everyone worth adding are in a conference already.
would love to add FSU and Louisville but its never going to happen.

Scott Community College hasn't changed conferences yet. So... nope.

But what about their rivalries with Clinton and Muscatine Community Colleges?

Oakland is going to Horizon

This makes so much sense, considering Oakland is a Detroit metro school all the Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, and Milwaukee schools, that I was surprised they weren't already in that conference.

It'll hurt them all. Currently, all these different plans are bundled (Except LOLHN.) where everyone who has a certain level of cable pays for them.

If this passes, it'll just be the HardCore sports fans that order them.

This would absolutely kill the Big 12 model, aside from the ISU Internet Channel, as the cost to produce these networks would far, far exceed any revenue generated.

Sincere question: Big 12 football is really, really fun to watch football. B1G football is mind numbingly boring. Do we believe that will effect the revenue generation of the Big12 and B1G? Will the B1G TV contract be effected by how good the football is? In 2016...3 more years of boring football, perhaps 3 years of B1G getting killed in the playoffs, will they still get "paid" by a great TV contract? Am I bias because I love the Cyclones and the Big12?

Check out these delusional OU fans. Starting to sound like husker fans now. Seems like they are always crying now a days...

Somebody had to take over for A&M...I guess OU wants to be that fanbase.

One of the few not mind-numbingly stupid things that I read there was McCain's proposed legislation to force A La Carte cable and take action against broadcasters if they pull their OTA content. I would be majorly (pleasantly) surprised if it passes, but it could be a major game changer. I wonder how many subscribers BTN would get with an A La Carte model.
