Wow- if ESPN is jumping on this, there must be something to it...

If Maryland/Rutgers go to the B10, are there other dominoes that fall?

-UConn to ACC?
-Big East would need at least 1 more to get to back to 12 when Navy joins...Air Force or BYU?
-Does the entrance of UConn to the ACC get Florida State or Clemson upset enough to pack their bags?
-Do Va Tech or NC State sense enough instability to reconsider the SEC's offers?

If this is true, look for Pac12 to make moves soon...and if Maryland is paying 50 mil buyout then no one is safe. 14 or 16 looks like the new normal.

Who would the Pac12 go after? An ACC school?

They may want to make a move, but unless they go all the way to the east coast or go with non-BCS teams, there is no one to join the Pac12 right now. There is no reason why all major conferences have to have the same number of teams. No time in history has that been the case, so no reason to think that it will be now.

I like those additions as an Iowa fan. Both will add revenue while not being someone that I'm afraid that Iowa will lose to every year. Not to mention that Iowa likes to recruit those two areas so them being in the same conference would help.
