Just trash. We pick up a must avenge in Manhattan by controlling the game, but we let a short Baylor come in to our house and push us down the standings? What is this team playing for? Snatching the upsets ends up not mattering when you can't beat a 10 point dog at home. No one wanted to rebound. The turnover battle was totally on our side in the second half, still couldn't snag the critical boards when it mattered

To me the offensive rebounding all came from the teams inability to contain dribble penetration. Playing one big hedging out that far on the pick and roll takes what little size is on the court out of the equation. By the time the big gets back into the paint Baylor has inside position and it’s game over.

An adjustment should have been made.

It's time to stop worrying about fast breaks, all 5 guys need to rebound. There was one possession where Lard went up for a defensive rebound against 3 Baylor guys, no other Iowa State was withing 20 feet of the basket. At least two guys were running the other way near half court already, and we didn't even have the ball!
