I got a new sump pump last week. It passed the test.

Well last night was fun!

Dog Meyer didn't sleep all night because he was scared of the storms.

5" of rain

Just when everything was dried up the raging waterfall from upper pond to lower pond is back.

Goat yard a muddy swamp.

So if you had a tee time set up for the next couple of days at Otter Creek in north Ankeny...

No you don't.

Fourmile creek is WAY beyond its banks. Wish I could get a pic, but there's really no good way for me to do it unless I'm in the passenger seat heading east on 36th.

I wondered how soggy that course would be. They go to 90 degrees or cart path only at the slightest bit of rain.

I think you mean Briarwood. That's the one Four Mile Creek passes through. Here's what it looked like at 9:00 this morning. Pictures are from the bridge on NE 36th - first shot is looking south toward the golf course, the second looking north.

I'm sure Otter Creek isn't in great shape either and perhaps Talons too. But on the bright side, unlike 2018 I didn't see any dead fish on the sidewalks when I was out.

The natural waterfall from the upper pond to the lower pond has subsided. But now the lower pond out of it's banks and inching closer to the power outlet for the manmade waterfall pumps. I better go cut power to that outlet.
