Just watched his highlight reel this morning. That would stink to lose him, seems like his scoring ability is a clear need next year. And the fact that he included defensive plays is awesome. I would assume we can pay better than SD and visibility would be way better.

With TJ's track record, I will assume if Williams leaves, it is because he's told he won't get significant minutes here.

The only way this isn’t true is if he transferred up. If he is following Blount it’s a soft landing but obviously down a level from ISU.

I don't think Williams will be a cyclone next year. There's smoke out there he could be following Blount to SD

I'm not sure what San Diego's roster looks like, but he would probably have a better chance to start there I'd imagine.

The timing of getting hurt really sunk Williams' chances here, he never had the chance to show what he could do in TJ's system. In the interim, he's effectively been recruited over with incoming HS kids. Heading out to SD with Blount is a good outcome for all involved. Wouldn't be surprising to see Mitchell do the same thing (though I keep seeing posts about a redshirt, not sure I buy it, but OK).
