**** Official 2026 MBB Spring Transfer Portal Thread ****

If David Cook got Jamie to split up NIL funding and let programs stand on their own, we should contact an architect to design the sculpture!

Let fans and businesses commit dollars to their desires. If funding dries up, you look internally at that program, not across the entire athletic dept

Side note: Colorado is or at least was slated to play in the Crown starting on Wednesday. Does that change with the mass exodus?

Ok, but revenue from football pretty much funds everything else, with a little help from men's basketball. So define "stand on their own".

With TJ's track record, I will assume if Williams leaves, it is because he's told he won't get significant minutes here.

The only way this isn’t true is if he transferred up. If he is following Blount it’s a soft landing but obviously down a level from ISU.

If y'all need a reminder, this is what we have as a 2nd ball handler next year. Its basically like getting a good transfer portal guard this year with 2 remaining of eligibility

His game reminds me a lot of senior year Diante Garrett

The timing of getting hurt really sunk Williams' chances here, he never had the chance to show what he could do in TJ's system. In the interim, he's effectively been recruited over with incoming HS kids. Heading out to SD with Blount is a good outcome for all involved. Wouldn't be surprising to see Mitchell do the same thing (though I keep seeing posts about a redshirt, not sure I buy it, but OK).
