I love seasons and change but I am happy this is not overly oppressive humidity wise. Also...because Midwest....if it wasn't for the wind it would probably be a lot worse.

The sustained wind along with a shaded area is quite nice. But I won’t be making s’mores with the fam this evening. Though a cocktail in hand is completely appropriate.

Just a gnat's whisker over a half inch. Still below normal for the month. Didn't get Altoona's wind though, so that was fine.

This weather pattern sucks. Ridge riding storms that just dump rain in the same spot over and over

Just over 3" this AM, and the weather radio going off at 5AM cause of the flash flood warning was a hell of an alarm clock.

Damn I love fluffy cloud season. Caught this from the north side of Marion last night of a tiny cell over Dyersville that actually was producing some small funnels. A lot going on here but the highlight for me was a rare pileus (lenticular on top of an updraft).
