I’m sitting at 2.4” near the Ankeny airport on the day with more coming. It couldn’t have come at a better time. Sure glad I had my second May mowing yesterday.
Yup, no mow May is through. Gonna be tough to keep up for a while after this. But that's a good thing. Wound up over 4" in a tad over 24 hours.

3.68" here on the west side of Waukee. Now lets get some sunshine and warm weather to get the plants I planted Sunday growing.

I live on the NW side of Ankeny. Exactly 4 inches in my rain gage from last night!

The only bad news is a guy down the block lost his fully grown tree. Pulled the roots right out of the ground. I'm guessing that the ground being completely soaked had a lot to do with that.

Just checked my cage here in N. Ames, had right at 4 inches since yesterday, add that to the .4 inches we got Sunday night, the grass is going to be growing big time here in North Ames.

I didn’t check my basement before work this morning. Hopefully nothing crazy down there when I get home.

One inch in Van Buren County.
I would have thought Van Buren and Davis Co would have gotten more than that, when I looked at the radar on KTVO, looked like a lot of rain in the area. FYI our granddaughters softball game was canceled last night, and we are hoping the make up game for tonight also will be. Why are they have makeup games for 9 year olds?

I live in NW Ankeny too and had 5.25in from Sunday night into Tuesday morning (had 0.3in on Monday morning). It is crazy the amount of variation that happened.

Bloomfield got a little more than 1.5. The heavy stuff went west of VB.
